Gwalior Division is one of the oldest affiliates of MPCA. Game of cricket has deep roots in this region. Gwalior happens to be the second venue where MPCA can host International matches. Capt. Roop Singh Stadium has hosted 12 One Day International games between 1988 to 2010. Ranji Trophy final of 1996-97 was played here under floodlights. As the second international venue under the auspices of MPCA, MPCA is developing an international stadium at Gwalior
